*Mariwen was walking down the street when a guy standing off in the shadows whistled at her.*
"Hey baby.."
*he said in a raspy voice. She rolled her eyes in digust at humans like those. She felt a pang of sadness that filled her expression from her mouth to her eyes remembering Micheal. He had been such a speical human compared to the rest she had meet, it had been her fault he wasn't in the world anymore. Why had she been so stupid... but as she thought to herself, she was caught off guard as the man who had been talking to her earlier grabbed her arm.*
"Excuse me, I think I might have said hey, why don't you and me, go somewhere a little more out of the way, eh?"
*he said with a tone that was starting to scare Mariwen. She felt his grip tighten more and more on her arm and she tried to pull it back to herslef.*
"Listen, you had better let go of my arm. I will show no mercy on you if you don't for I have warned you."
*Mariwen said in a confident tone, but in her mind she was scrambling for help or any sort of plan, because she had no idea yet what to do. She had been sure she could handle herself in any situation, especailly as one of them, a human, but now faced with this man, she realized she wasn't as strong as she had thought. The man just laughed and tried to pull her close to his body well she struggled harder to pull herself away from him, and started to shout a little.*

The sound of clotehs flapping in the wind wer heard for a short second as something moved around them unsee for the moment. Till a voice came behind them both.
I sugest you let her go.... you don't want to piss me off today.

*They both jumped as the voice came from behind them and Mariwen managed to regain her senses to pull her arm free when he was off guard. He turned half way towards Skylier, not able to see Skyliers full face from the shadows, and still with his eye on Mariwen even tho she was now out of arms reach.*
"And what are you going to do about it huh? What do you think your going to do if I just grab this little girl here, and take her back to my place. Think you can stop me?"
*he turned his back completely to Mariwen and started to walk closer to Skylier in a mencing way. With his back turned to her, Mariwen realized she couldn't leave her rescuer with him, she looked around for something to hit him on the head with, out of the corner of her eye she saw a metal garbage can lid and picked it up creeping up on the jerk who had grabbed her.*

Skylier started to smile on one side of his face as the man walked closer to him. Not moving a inch he just stood there waiting for him to take another step.
Oh I can stop you..... with only my feet....
With that he was off to one side and then apperend on the hext side. He kept jumping back and forth and looked like there was about 20 of him jumping now in front of him. While he was watching them all Skylier walked out from behind him with his arms still crossed. He leaped up and simpled landed a single kick to his head. He let out a oof and landed on the ground witha thud.
Hmpt.....

*Mariwen stepped to the side as she saw the guy go flying*
"Well I guess this isn't needed anymore..."
*she said as she threw the garbage can lid off to the side. She then scoffed looking at the guy laying there, but her glanced turned back towards the other way, she began to feel embarrased about the situation as she looked over at Skylier standing there in the shadows.*
"umm... Sorry you had to do that, thanks for your help."

NO problem... too bad he was more of a work out for me....
He kept his eyes down on the guy till he was sataisfied that he was out cold. He turned and started to walk away since the danger has passed now.

*Mariwen felt an uneasy feeling creep over her as she stood there watching him walk away. She wasn't sure how safe she felt anymore, she had always thought if something like this came up she would be able to handle herself no problem in a fight but now she was more unsure. Maybe... maybe he could show her something, but she felt unsure about asking him. I mean she didn't even know him, but still...*
"ummm..."
*she said hoping he would stop.*
"could you... I mean would you mind showing me how to do that, or at least protect myself a little better? I don't like the idea of something like that happening again and not having someone around to swoop in and save me."

Skylier stoped and turned his head to the side. His shoulder blocked the sight of part of his bottom chin as he looked back.
Sure why not.... I actually live at a training arena that would be perfcet to teach ya... come on I'll show you.
He truned his head back around and walked back to his home. The sleves of his shirt dangled out behind him as he walked back.

*Mariwen tilted her head and smiled, she was glad he didn't sound like he minded too much. She started following behind Skylier*
"Well thanks a lot, I appericate it. Its nice to be able to defend myself. So got any idea where we're going to start?"

Graples.... since that is how this is all started will start with that. Ways to simply get out of a hold or counter it on the guy.
Skylier started to think out what would be his plan of attack to teacher these moves to help her.

Well for one we wait till we get to the dojo then you'll learn.
Skylier kept walking on as it was just a few more turns till he was back home where they could start.

Yuri had seen everything tht had happened from the roof top she had been on. She jumped from roof to roof fallowing them and then she simply jumped off the roof she was on, flipped a few times in the air and that landed impressively graceful in front of them.
I can teach you to defend yourself. Watch this.
She jumped back to give herself a little room and then started to make up fighting moves. Yuri didn't know that first thing about fighting but she was having fun pretending she did.

Skylier watched carefuly as Yuri did some more poses. They were irracted and not polished. In short she was simply throwing her legs and arms about making teh illusion of she knew what she was doing.
Thats nice.... if you care to contuine with your act we shall do it in the proper place.
Skylier walked alittle to the side as he saw his house around the courner.

Yuri stopped and watched Skylier walk past her. He wasn't smiling and Yuri thought she may have done something wrong. She ran after him and jumped high into the air landing on his shoulders.
